How To Root Cherry Mobile Razor Easy Way

I guess its time for another rooting tutorial. Since, CM Razor is a new smartphone here in Philippines, we thought that it might take some time to discover a root, but we're wrong. 
Someone has already managed to discover a root for CM Razor, that's why today, I'm going to share this method to Cherry Mobile Razor users.

Rooting CM Razor Auto Root MTK6589 (One click root)

Download The Files Needed First
First download PDAnet drivers:

Rooting Procedure

  1. Install PDAnet drivers
  2. Enable USB Debugging - Settings>Developer Options>USB debugging, enable USB debugging check box.
  3. Download and extract Auto Root package (mtk6589 pkg) in a folder on your PC (Extract to Desktop for easy navigation)
  4. Connect CM Razor to PC
  5. Go to the folder you extracted Auto Root package (mtk6589 pkg) files and run the "run.bat" file by double clicking on it, and press any key to continue.
  6. Wait for the rooting to finish and press any key to continue, then take a cup of coffee. :)
  7. Your phone will reboot automatically
  8. BOOM! Your now rooted.

 Notes:
  • This tutorial will void your warranty.
  • Mobile31 or its authors will not be responsible if you follow the steps.
  • Risk of bricking your phone.
  • As always, Do at your own risk!

    there is no developer option in settings. :((

      go to settings>about phone>and tap build number 5 times. Then check again in settings. You should be able to see the devs option.

      @-) na root na ang cp ko po..pano to pag repair pag na brick ang cp mo??..nag download kasi ako ng application para sa rooted na cp..may na download den na restart..nag hahang sya pagdating dun sa may android na logo..

      Meron naman trick para magamit lahat ng cores, meron yata yung kernel na term, nd ko na matandaan.

    mga tol 1 click root download framaroot 1.7.1 version.seconds lang root na razor mo.pwede mo pang i-unroot tsaka i-root ulit.kung gusto mo i-check kung root o d pa ang razor mo download root checker sa playstore tried and tested ko na yan mga tol.
