Top 10 Highest Speed Internet Countries

We all know that the United States is the world's successful high-tech country. But despite of this, their internet speed connection is not that high and fast. 

Here's the list of the top 10 countries, leading the world for their fast and highest speed internet connections.

According to AKAMAI (a content delivery company that analyze the internet connection speed using their high-tech tool), this is the result of the latest survey from April to June 2013.

Let's start from Number 10

10. DENMARK

Denmark with an average internet speed of 8.2 Mbps, higher 17% than last year.

9.  UNITED STATES

United States, the 9th place with an internet connection speed 8.6Mbps, increased 27% compared last year.

8. SWEDEN

8th place Sweden with an average speed connection reached 8.9 Mbps, increased by 32% last year.

7. CZECH REPUBLIC

7th place, Czech Republic an Eastern European country with an average internet speed up to 9.6 Mbps. It increased 34% than last year.

6. LATVIA

Latvia, also European Country with internet speed up to 9.8 Mbps, much higher 12% than last year.

5.NETHERLANDS

Also, European country with an average internet speed up to 9.9 Mbps, increased their speed last year by 12%.

4. SWITZERLAND

Increased by 24% last year, the Switzerland is the 4th country with an average internet speed connection up to 10.1 Mbps.

3. HONG KONG

The 3rd place, country with fastest internet speed connection is the Hong Kong with an average speed connection of 10.9 Mbps. Increased 16% last year.

2. JAPAN

With an average connection of 11.7 Mbps, the Japan is our 2nd country with highest speed internet connection. Increased up to 6.8% from last year's record.

1. SOUTH KOREA

No wonder, there are more Korean gamers, because their internet speed connection is up to 14.2 Mbps. Although, it decreased 10% from their record last year, South Korea still managed to be the top country in the world with the most high speed internet connection.
